Built for people who actually want to pass the exam

CertForged exists because every other RHCSA prep tool was missing something. Books are passive. Video courses don’t let you break things. Lab VMs are slow to provision and don’t grade your work. Lab subscription services lock you into a vendor lock-in mindset.

We wanted something else: an environment that runs entirely in your browser, where every command works, every task is graded immediately, and a spaced-repetition engine quietly tracks what you don’t know yet.

What we built

A simulated RHEL environment with:

  • 80+ Linux commands implemented from scratch (no real kernel needed).
  • Full virtual filesystem, users, services, storage, SELinux, and containers.
  • 33 topics covering all 10 EX200 objectives.
  • 160+ mastery tasks graded in real time.
  • Timed exams with domain-weighted question selection and reboot validation.
  • SM-2 spaced repetition that surfaces your weak spots automatically.

Who we are

CertForged is a small, independent project. Currently a solo founder, an active RHCSA candidate, and a long-time Linux user. We have no investors. No marketing budget. No telemetry beyond opt-in error reports. Just a tool we wanted to exist and decided to build.

What we are not

Not affiliated with Red Hat. CertForged is independent third-party preparation. We do not have access to actual exam questions and we do not guarantee a passing score. See our disclaimer for the full picture.
