Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CertForged at certforged.com (the “Service”), operated by CertForged (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@certforged.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current rate. You can cancel any time from your billing portal — your subscription remains active through the end of the current period.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Taxes, where applicable, are added at checkout.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or share your account with others.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content from the Service.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the simulator beyond what is permitted by law.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm anyone.
• Interfere with the Service’s operation, security, or other users’ access.

5. Intellectual Property

We own the Service, including content, design, code, and trademarks, except where otherwise indicated. You retain ownership of any data you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your data solely to provide the Service.

6. Third-Party Marks

RHCSA® and Red Hat® are trademarks of Red Hat, Inc. CertForged is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Red Hat, Inc. We provide independent exam preparation; we do not represent or guarantee that using the Service will result in a passing score on any official certification exam.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the Service or other users.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions). You waive the right to a jury trial. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@certforged.com.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
