What CertForged actually is

CertForged is a browser-based simulator for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam. There's a real terminal, a real (simulated) filesystem, real (simulated) services and users, and immediate grading on every task. No VM. No installation.

What to do first

Open Curriculum from the navigation.

Pick the Essential Tools domain and start with File Operations.

Read the Concept tab, then click Practice and try the first task.

Once you've tried a few practice items, the Mastery tab unlocks — that's where graded scoring happens.

What's free vs. paid

Your study plan’s first week is free. Before you create a plan, you can explore File Operations and Text Files. Topics you have already studied remain available when you are signed in. Pro unlocks the full curriculum, practice mode, and timed exams.

Tip

Don't binge-read. Spend 30 minutes on one topic, do the mastery tasks, and let spaced repetition surface it again in a few days. Use the review queue to revisit what you have practiced.
